Competitor price monitoring
Competitors' public prices are scanned regularly, you are told when something changes, and a price suggestion is prepared.
Typical targets; the real figure is measured in the pilot.
- Several times a dayHow often it scans, you decide
- Same dayTarget time to notice a competitor change
The problem
You look at competitors' prices by hand now and then. On the days you do not look, prices change and you miss it. With many products, following all of them is impossible. You either stay too expensive and lose sales, or sell too cheap for no reason.
Who it is for
- Car rental and fleet companies
- E-commerce and marketplace sellers
- Hotels, apart hotels and accommodation businesses
- Retailers and wholesalers with many products
What it does
Scheduled scanning
The competitor sites and marketplaces you choose are scanned at set times.
Product matching
A competitor's product or package is matched with yours, so like is compared with like.
Rule-based suggestions
Your rules such as 'stay 3% above the cheapest' are applied and the system prepares a price suggestion.
Change alerts
You get an email or message when a competitor cuts a price or raises one.
Dashboard
Price history by product, the gap to competitors and suggestions are all in one dashboard.
You approve
You approve any price change. If you want prices to change on their own, that can be set up too.
What routine work costs
Set three numbers. If 60% of the routine work is automated, see roughly how much time and money is left each year.
Department
Example routine task: Invoice entry, reconciliation, collections follow-up
Automation rate is fixed at 60%, with 22 workdays a month.

How we deliver it
- 01
We decide who to watch
Together we choose the competitors, products and packages, the sites to check and how often to check.
- 02
We set up scanning and matching
We build the scanner that reads public prices from the sites and we match the products.
- 03
We write the price rules
We decide when alerts are given and by which rule a suggestion is prepared.
- 04
We open the dashboard and tune it
We hand over the dashboard. In the first weeks we fix wrong matches and missed scans.
Works with
Questions
Is this against the law?
Only prices anyone can see are read. Areas that need a login are not entered. The terms of some sites may restrict scanning, and we assess this together at the start.
Can you scan any site?
Most of them, yes. Some sites block bots or change their structure often. Before we start we check the target sites one by one.
How long does setup take?
A first working version is usually ready in 1-3 weeks. It depends on how many competitors and products are monitored.
What if a competitor's site changes?
When a site's structure changes, scanning may break. In that case we update the scanner as part of maintenance.
